Pirro is on the pace and that's good news provided that he is not doing so good in MotoGP. This just shows how much sh*t MotoGP is in right now, and how boring it is becoming. In MotoGP everything is consistent, in a bad way...... why? every race there is only 3 people have the possibility of winning, possibility not capability.... two different things, and almost every race, only Marquez Lorenzo and Pedrosa is on the podium, barring crashes. WSBK is more exciting and MotoGP is becoming boring I hope Dorna don't do anything stupid to WSBK.

They already do.
Now when WSBK is under Dorna, it's always gonna be a second tier championship.
I know it's never been as popular as MotoGP but Dorna is able to kill WSBK althogether in case of some another or further crisis.
They'd never sacrifice MotoGP.

re: "I know it's never been as popular as MotoGP "

not true, there have been many times when it was equal if not MORE popular than MotoGP. there's an ebb and a flow. it's why ezpelata went through all the behind the scenes machinations to SEIZE control. it's been a constant thorn in his side during his tenure. gotta know the full 25 year history of WSBK (ie. the big bikes), how it came about and the F1 series that existed before it. the days of 2T grandprix when the 80cc and 350cc classes existed. the shift of manufacturers from 2T to 4T and the public's preference for large capacity (750cc-1200cc). the wholesale switch in '02 from GP500 to the MotoGP rebrand. the stealing of WSBK engine technology with CRT to prop up a faltering series, etc. it's all right there in front of us.

GPs would be a complete joke with out the joke CRT evo class, there would be like 12 bikes and 2 fighting it out while 2 more fought for 3rd and the Ducatis fought for the last 4 spots,

why Ducati continue to stay in that series is beyond me, they cannot compete at all with Honda and the tires have been costing them big since 2009.

MotoGP is destined to turn in to Moto1, and most of the winning bikes will be Honda Production racerers, It will be like KTM in Moto3. And the guys pulling the strings will have full access to the guys controlling the motors, ecus and tires.
