That pass by Laverty on Melandri was not only amazing but the best way to put that dirty rider named Marco in his place.

If Marquez and Rossi moves are harsh then Marco is just a dirty racer he didn't even have a chance to make that corner. Laverty showed him up that pass was amazing.

Classic! Melandri was expecting a Rossi / Marquez / Criville undercut and braked early to block it.

Laverty more than earned his place on my Fantasy League team with that "por fuera", round the outside overtake. The pass of the season, in all classes!

He also proved himself to be a true gent after Melandri's slightly off key pass from earlier.

Laverty was stellar in spite of ultimately having been completely overshadowed by Sykes winning the championship.

Well done Grinner!

100% right m8.. After so many years waching that corner and some of the overtakes i have to say Laverty really teach to any top rider in the World how to make te clean and beautifull.. I guess Melandri just declare is intencion to early on the corner the way he close the inside line.. But dont blain him to much because Laverty stop that bike just perfect and honeslty Laverty deserve to Win since Melandri move was a bit badly calculated, and i dont say that Melandri move was dirty was simple one move where he was more less commited and when he choose to enter Laverty close the door and he didnt have the space to just avoid contact, it happens, dirty moves was if he had do like Jonathan Rea did in Doningtton.. At least Melandri brake and just run out of space wille Rea saw a gap and didnt care about if Haslam where making the turn he just go and say Sht happens because he new would not be him
