" we don't like racing with him". MM's achieved the desire effect then! People said the same about Senna! I like MM, he does whatever is needed to finish as high as possible regardless of whether he makes friends in the process. Ruthless, and fast without falling off. Watching him slide the front lap after lap, was a pleasure. Laverty needs to stop crying about everything, he's turned into right moaner over the past few months....

Laverty's only saying what most already think, its obvious he's a dirty rider,
Marco's philosophy is why do a clean pass when i can run him our wide of even off the track and cost him an extra position or so at same time, u can almost see it going through his brain as the moment approaches every time. Even to his own team mates, he would run his mother out wide off track given the chance probably aswell!
Very un-classy way to ride.
And the thing is he don't need to do that, he's good enough to pass clean, he just chooses not to.

lavertys not moaning, hes just calling it as he sees it (like many others). I mean he just responded by making a hard classy move round the outside of melandri on the last corner! that's talking with his racing skill ,and his bravery. so he backs up the talk with his riding. fair enough

Really dont know why melandri feels the need to make the passes he does ?"( little man syndrome maybe?). He shouldnt have to being probably one of the smallest guys on the grid on one of the most powerful bikes ( just behind aprillia maybe ). Really can't understand why he can't pass on straights instead of block passing and trying to run other riders off track. Fingers crossed Eugene gets a decent bike and put some moves on him again .

Well done Eugene ! Yes Melandri's a dirty rider and it must be frustrating racing, and being held up by him but at least you have the consolation of knowing you're faster than him ! which makes me wonder why they gave him your seat...?

So is Sofuoglu!

But does tat make for exciting racing or not?

For me as long as they dont hurt anyone I prefer to watch a dogfight race than a jerkk running away with the race without any contact whatsoever

Cheers

I wouldn't call Sofuoglu dirty, he rather reminds me of Takuma Sato in that every so often he gets the red mist and does crazy moves.

Melandri is consistently dirty though, and I got pelters on these forums for pointing that out last year when he cost Haslam a win in race 2 at Donnington.

Analyst - I think it's pretty safe to say that Melandri is getting the Aprilia ride cos he's Italian and one of Eugene or Guintoli had to go to for that to happen.
