Ducati has signed Chaz Davies and Davide Giugliano as its official World Superbike Championship riders for the next two seasons.

Surprised by the signing of Giugliano, as much I expected Davies, I didn't expect him. But seems his late results made him valuable on the rider market.

Ducati will have two very good riders next year, only question is how good the bike will be.

hmmn interesting, 2 of the biggest/heaviest riders, but clearly both have shown themselves to be racy. is extra weight the new strategy for "breaking the backbone"...? earth to ruben xaus, your ship has come in, over.

I think this is a great line up!! Guigliano is fast but a little wild and I think he just needed more time on a consistent/similar brand bike... this will be his 4th different bike in 4 years...from Superstock to SBK.. yes he is going back to ducati but let us be real this is not the same Ducati of 2011 & 2012.

Chaz is in the same boat as well with no concurrency in the last 4 years... SS (yam) to Aprilia to BMW to Ducati. So it is good to see these boys on 2 year contracts!!
