There is no point for running Honda, Yamaha or Suzuki in Evo class. With stock rules they are too much down on power. If you look 2013 season in STK there was Ducati, Kawasaki and BMW at the front. Aprilia would have hard time with their engine in EVO class? In superbikes with the modifications to the engine and electronics the three Japanise can be some what competitive running in top 10 and sometimes pretty close to the front runners.

This Evo class looks interesting. Will the best Evo rider awarded like CRT in MotoGP?

As for the links about H-Moto team, they announced they won't be in Evo next year. They don't have the money. I think the same will stand for Team Toth.

The EVO bike is the right direction, and the right compromise, as it's a superbike with a stock engine and ECU. With limited adjustments and modifications both the team and rider abilities will play a major role in this EVO system. It will also up a market for various suspension firms to promote there brand instead of the normal gold brand that teams teams paid over the odds for to use.

re: "However, the much rumoured 'Down Under Motorsport' operation, helmed by former champion Troy Corser, appears to have been shelved until 2015 after failing to secure enough funds, while a prospective all-German BMW team including Max Neukirchner and IDM Champion Markus Reiterberger is also reported to have become stillborn."

take note of the common denominator here... BMW. the 3X sstk "WORL' CHAMPEENS" aren't dispensing any form of free lunch. quite the opposite, Munich demands you commence uploading cash to the Roundel post-haste (like you've been doing). those wanting to play are those coming off the dime.

wait, that doesn't rhyme, or does it...? lol
