Why Dorna? I though FIM is the sanctioning body...

Nick636: Monza's always been a trademark WSBK venue where all the best races occured. Seems like Dorna wants to destroy everything good about WSBK and place the series clearly BELOW the MotoGP, although both series' were defined with clearly different goals (prototype vs production racing).

re: "The historic Italian circuit has been a regular fixture on the WSBK calendar over the years"

dysfunction alert...!

question, who owns Monza...? is it privately owned...? state owned...? owned by the gub'ment...?

whoever they are, my guess is they've been "absentee" (on the French Riviera this). if one is truly interested in being a "good steward" of their property, it wouldn't take losing a race, or any kind of inspection to maintain the facility/make improvements...?

you would've already done them.

f#%kin with your cash is the only thing you kids seem to understand. (larry bishop, strip club and carwash owner)

Monza normally gives us the race of the year, a great close high speed slipstreaming battle, cant say the same for any other track in the world, they dont need to cancel it from WSB they need to get MOTO GP their as well!

Low strike from dorna to try to carry attention away from WSBK.

Instead of making The MGP more interesting, they are trying to destroy WSBK.

Imola gets to stay, even many riders have died there or got injuredd, and Monza gets banned!?

I wish dorna went bankrupt.

Seriously, taking the most exciting event of the year from the calendar isnt going to make me wanna watch MGP.

Its a fact that Dorna have an issue: WSB has the ingredients that MotoGP can only dream of.

Attempting to mess with the composition of the WSB series is a really poor show from the spaniards. MotoGP needs to move up an entertainment level, not bring WSB down!!!
