Only thing I'd put a bet on is Sykes for pole position but the payout for that prediction would only give a couple of cents on the dollar these days.

Hopefully Sykes lays a nice big darky through Stoner for the camera tomorrow during qually.

The track is green, but I wouldnt be surprised if he won both races on the last lap like his brother did last year (generally speaking). Yawn. Hope Melandri doesnt have tire issues, but if the Suzuki is a better bike than the Aprilia last year when Aprilila was the best bike to be on at PI, I suspect that the first round is Suzuki's to lose, w/ a clear advantage on tire life, at least for Lowes :)

I wonder if Laverty is spelled Pedrosa in Spanish.

His brother had to battle hard last year PCmax or whatever your name is. His bike was visibly slower down the straights than the Kawasakis. He took more risks on the corners - Thats how he ended up thrashing Sofuoglu.

If Laverty had the same flag as his brother you'd love him...
Lowes is excellent but you can't expect him to be Marquez in his first season...

Honda and Bridgestone gave Marquez his first championship, keep believing what you want. Dani never had a chance last year, and if Dorna are consistent in how they behave, Eugene will just be used like Dani was, to promote Alex's credibility. This is how television works, television is not reality, television is a lie :) cheers.

Television ratings are also why Sam Lowes intentionally stayed behind Kenan until the last lap, last year, so very often, when he obviously had the pace to win the race by at least 5 seconds. Just watch the last two laps of the last race in WSS, last year, that was Sam's real pace. Don't get me started on self deception .... ugh.

@shamarone,

correction, Bridgestone and Honda provided the technical means,

of course Repsol and Dorna provided the political backing :) I have been saying that all along though.

Dorna will be turning Alex in to Marc for the Brit fans, enjoy 2014. Everyone loves to worship idols these days, there was a reason why Moses didn't appreciate the golden calf.... or was it a red bull???
