I am always happy to see new blood in a series and welcome more manufacturers so of course I hate to be the damper in the party. Is it possible EBR had misconceptions of their performance level? It bothers me a bit because they cannot even maintain pace with the EVO's and lapped by the leaders?

I am sure this wll make them go back to the drawing board and re-evaluate their power plant but it sucks that they are learning this on the world stage.. one would figure that at a minimum they would be ahead of the EVOs or competing with them

Last but not least...I do wish them every bit of luck and future success! I am after all a fan of the underdog

Really don't know what they were thinking going to WSBK,the were never competitive even in the AMA racing against lower spec bikes, I give them a A for effort but don't expect them to last the season.

With Hero as a sponsor theyre not underfunded i would think.. the bike is slow at the moment but Erik Buell and Hero arent gonna just give up. Their investment is too large. I have good faith development of the bike will get better and better. They had podiums against largely more powerful bikes in AMA. So all the doubters will only motivate this team more.

@RocketR1
Your message reminds me of why Lord Hesketh went in F1. His team was terrible in F3 so he decided that, if he had money to waste, lets at least do it in F1, were the stars are and where good results will catch the public's eyes.

They have the balls to turn up and do their development in front of everybody on the world stage and I admire them for that. KTM still don't want to enter WSBK with their RC8 because they don't have the balls. At least Team Hero EBR show there face even when things don't look that good. I hope their V-twin engine can improve lots so the bike can be more competitive. Best of luck!

I allready wach videos on youtube with one EBR 1200 RS and have to say the bike sound great the gearbox was well made with good timing on gears... The latest model is the one they are using on WSBK is call the 1200 RX is expected to be a great model, 4sure at the momente in WSBK they need to worck hard to improve there bike specs but i really bealive they will Fix this lack of performance, they are not stupid and they wach the Gap they have now to the others after 1 race, Aragon will be even harder because of the long straights but this year on tracks like Imola or other small track aim shure they will be better.. there words where very clear this year is to test and develpment the machine 2015 is for the real attack.. They have one hard rival to beat Ducati build Vtwin engines for long time, this EBR bike is new for this year and Ducati just enter on the 2 year with the Panigaly and now they are factory again.. This year will be impossible for EBR to be on Leval of performance with

A simple ride just to listen to the engine worcking, this is the 1190 RS

re: "Is it possible EBR had misconceptions of their performance level?"

nope.

re: "It bothers me a bit"

no worries.

you're looking at this all wrong. what Munjal asks you to look at (and be subconsciously influenced by) is that ginormous HERO logo. now do it. do it. (ben stiller voice)
