Ducati's Davide Giugliano ups the pace once more during testing at Jerez as he circulates the Spanish venue in record WSBK pace.

Davide was always fast.... but he used to be so on the ragged edge.. last year he really seemed to settle down and looked lot smoother without losing his edge...those combinations make for a fast rider...

Anyway I notice Sykes did not run the transponder which I believe they should do more often because the media get so hung up on who was first etc etc but we tend to forget that this is a test....and it is almost as if there is peer pressure to put in a fast lap even when the team testing schedule may not have included "a qualifying lap"

Anyway...good stuff by Ducati and team...

Giugliano is perhaps the most naturally talented rider in terms of raw speed in the WSBK paddock now. Davies is a disappointment so far... and Sykes is scared of Baz. Believe me and expect a huge clash between these two this season... Sykes won't like the youngster taking points from him ... he'll demand Baz to be a clear no2 rider - and the Frenchman won't succumb. Remember the Phillip Island...
