Fresh from his run to the WSBK podium for the first time in Assen, Voltcom Crescent Suzuki's Alex Lowes is seeking more success at Imola.

There are many really fast guys in the WSBK paddock. The series has a deep field where on any given weekend, there can be a fresh face on the podium. However, there are only a hand full of guys who have championship winning pedigree. AL22 is one of those guys.

I have no doubt that when Alex gets fully acclimated, he will be a legitimate title contender. Race wins are one thing, championship hardware another.
Lowes knows.

Both the Lowes boys have what it takes to get to the top - fearless, dedication, commitment and above all, skill and an abundance of talent. These 2 lads also love every minute they spend on a bike and it shows. They put themselves under pressure to do well though which can on occasions end up in disaster, but this is how to learn, how to get to know how far you can go so that you come back stronger and wiser. The Lowes twins are destined to do well and it's going to be great watching them do so!!

I rate the Lowes twins as having the most talent and potential of all the Brits on the world stage.

The only thing against them is their age, relatively young though they are. The latest crop of hotshot Spaniards are hitting the GP classes in their teens.

No disrespect to your view Don-R but they are not fit to lace Johnny Rea's and Tom Sykes boots at the moment full stop. All Alex has done is throw it up the road to Assen and then had sense. They have a lot to learn and it will take a few years to learn it. There a certainly no mugs on the WSBK starting grid. There's been to much hype from 'there will always be an England Brigade' from the start concerning these guys. Let them learn their trade first.
