Just showed us why he has the number 1 on the front.

Unfortunately Rea down to earth after today, that title indeed is a dream.
Wonder what Giugliano was told after first race if he managed to finish the second.
Impressed with Bimota progress, seems Bata was right, they are becoming top Evo.

Btw...Anyone seen Melandri...

Race 1 was the best race of the year and the best I've seen for a while. Couldnt understand why Sykes was sitting there in 10th for so long. Seriously impressive from him.

Baz was also excellent although I understand he copies Toms settings a lot and clearly is a lot rougher and eager to get won over Tom, which makes Toms rides to win all the better.

Tom could potentially be a 3 time world champ this year. His dominance is the first to remind me of Foggy for a Brit.

Can't beat winning with the number 1 plate which many don't.

Was a fantastic race and a great weekend at Donington. Only disappointment was the low crowd figures. 15,000 for a race day is embarassing for a world championship event, especially when you consider Brands Hatch was packed for the same event only six years ago. Sunday felt pretty empty when you walked around the infield. Maybe World Superbikes needs an hour long highlights programme on ITV4 or something like BSB to boost attendance?

I was at Redgate on the in-field & witnessed Sykes & the ZX10R in full flow - in race 1 he was just awesome. Not sure he was really trying in race 2 until I witnessed him oversteering on just the back wheel exiting Redgate - twice. Nuff said.
