Not idiot, it happen Guintoly was going stronger then Melandri but Melandri was not going that bad either, So in Melandri head he should not make t esay for Guintoly, and since Guintoly understand that he just whent on when he had a little Gap and then the story we allready know... I allready wach worst, and if we take condicions into consideration and also the dificult track.. have to say Guintoly had balls and even when he crash he just go to the Bike and try the best again, Thumbs up to is behavior, was a racing incidente and he try to recover from that.. on this race i was a bit desapointed with Tom, i know he had to think on Champ but i allready wach him more stronger in Wet, and this race give him oportunitis to just keep the 3 place ..

Anyway not the end of the World i just think that he should be more stronger on Wet with the Ninja like he was in the past..

Said it before on the Sykes/Baz incident - you don't take your team mate out EVER.

Sensible ride from Tom.

@Vilas46 - If Sykes wins the championship by 5 points, he will be able to look at this race! It's all about the big picture, not the moment.

Gunters new riding style is brilliant. Should have run race 1 if he had passed the traffic earlier and race 2...Melandri have some of your own medicine!! Guintoli was so much faster and Melandri could have stood it up but instead turned in thinking the Guinters would allow him too..not anymore !!! To get back on the bike and finish like he did showed true passion in the conditions. Fair play to Rea, great result for him and well ridden.

Complete rubbish to the idiot/rubbish comment Guintoli demonstrated real passion and aggression which people have been pushing him to do all season!! What happened between melandri and Guintoli is part of racing. Melandri held the pack up in the first race and received a taste of his own medicine in the second.

gugu: idiot Guintoli

Sylvain is one of the fairest and most level headed riders in modern day motorcycle racing, your comment is nonsense. Shame for Aprilia as they had real pace in that second race but it was a racing incident pure & simple.

re: "Said it before on the Sykes/Baz incident - you don't take your team mate out EVER."

nobody's listening...

i said it 2 years ago with Leo and "Melandro" at Donington. i said it 4 years ago with Vettel and Webber in Turkey. i said it 8 years ago with Gibs and Capirex, Catalunya.

it would seem the old phrase about those "who don't know history" is as relevant today...? as back when the "wise man" first coined it. right then, round of applause people for that wise man, whoever he was...? (collective handclaps)

re: "What happened between melandri and Guintoli is part of racing."

i think you'll find this phrase most often spoke by losing teams that stop short of fully managing all the variables. in contrast, winning teams rarely ever speak this as they consider the phrase "unpalatable".
