We now continue your regular programming... :D

GO TOMMY!!!!!

@ Jamie Davis

Because it's mid season break. MOST of the riders are based in Europe, almost all the teams are too. It makes logistical sense. They would've had to return anyway.

Come back, test, then have about 6 weeks to implement any changes from the test.

fireblaze: Why do we never hear rumors of Sykes coming to Motogp??

All sorts of reasons to be discussed I suppose, but hey when life is this good in SBK I'm not sure there is a reason to move. He is loving life and I'd guess is getting paid rather handsomely. I hope he carries on with the best show in town!

I'm an avid bike fan wsbk is the place to watch a great competition . Motogp is in a sorry state there are only going to be 1 of 4 winners, Sykes would be insane to go to motogp. Unless he can get a works yam or honda, that would never happen.

I should have elborated more on my statement. When I said he wouldn't be able to cut it I meant for the reasons @Garry has mentioned, in that he wouldn't be able to get his hands on a competitive machine.

All of the above from Jed and Garry.

Plus, financially Skyes is on a very good package, one that he would never get in GP, he is 30 this year and as all the top riders have said, adapting styles can be a career killer if not successful.

Also he could go on to break records in WSB, or at least become the most successful british rider.

Why would you go anywhere when your on top form, earning top money and on top of a world championship?
