Great rider, nice bloke, deserves a proper shot at GP-not some lashup Dorna grid filler.
Stay and win on Superbikes, better than making up the numbers in GP.
What does the Welsh national anthem sound like?

Watched Chaz race the R6 for Celtic Racing in the AMA. Fast from the jump, and he fit in nicely with fellow racers and teams in the paddock, making many friends.

Also, at Laguna in 2007, all of a sudden I noticed Alex Hoffman wasn't going to race because of injury and CD7 was thrown into the the mix on the Ducati. Looked fast and like he belonged out there.

Dude paid his dues and is now WC and a factory star. Great story!

Definitely an underdog with his size especially on the Ducati one thing for certain is him and Giugliano make for an interesting combo on the Ducati one rider balls out all the time and the other has awesome race craft both very much capable of winning.

Next year should be a good year for the team that bike is getting better.

Tough road but has had two good opportunities now in BMW team with Marco and now top dawg at Ducati. Has to achieve greater consistency and deliver results, that's alot of bikes and teams he's had and really needs to step up to the plate now.

Chaz's race career to date story just goes to demonstrate that being suitably talented really isnt the be-all and end-all, and determines that a racer will be successful.

Really, that Chas has been able to fight his way to the top is remarkable.

It begs the question of just how many potentially champion material racers have been buried into mediocrity by 2nd rate kit and 3rd rate support?

On the flip side... how many guys had top flight careers on top grade kit whose talent didnt warrant it quite so much?

Its a pity and a hard truth that it takes an awful lot of planets to align for you as well as top talent to be able to make it.
