WSBK » FIM confirms no extra races for 2014


The proposal for a third WSBK race to take place in Qatar is rejected, meaning the remainder of the season will be contested over six races.

I guess it depended on when they were going to run the race. If it was after qualifying, there'll be no-one in the stands and very few viewers on TV, so I could understand why they said no if that was the case.

I guess no South American countries are willing to slip the likes of Ten Kate, Crescent Suzuki and co some cash to cart their bikes and equipment down their neck of the woods next season like they are willing with motogp.
