16:38
UK Time
So that concludes a fantastic day's racing from Silverstone with 5 tremendous races. Try to tune into the re-run on British Eurosport this evening if you didn't catch it!
16:36
UK Time
The big loser was Sykes who struggled in the iffy conditions, but he has only lost 10 points to Guintoli over the course of the day.
16:34
UK Time
That was a fabulous weekend for the Fixi Cresent Suzuki squad. Both riders inside the top 6 in both races and 2 podiums. Hopefully the start of things to come!
16:32
UK Time
It seems Melandri's charge is slowly slipping away and he failed to make any real impression on the top 10 today. It still seems to be a 4 horse race for the title.
16:30
UK Time
Laverty stays in 3rd, 36 points behind Sykes and 5 ahead of Melandri. Baz now joins Davies in 5th with 180.
16:28
UK Time
So Guintoli must secretly be relieved as he leaves Silverstone with an increased championship lead. He sits on 262 points, 13 ahead of Sykes.
16:27
UK Time
Just to clarify, Haslam isn't included in the results as he didn't remount. As Cluzel got back on before the red flags came out he was included.
16:25
UK Time
Some nice words from Baz in the post race interview: "After race 1 I was really disappointed. In race 2 I was hungry and started from the front. I improve every race and we’re getting there. I want to dedicate that to Andrea. We’ll never forget you."
16:24
UK Time
A beaming Cluzel said, "I can’t believe it. I was disappointed in Moscow but here we continue the good feeling. I had some luck at the end but I’m really happy to be here."
16:22
UK Time
Laverty said, "I'm happy with 2 podiums. The conditions were a real lottery and it was nice having 2 guys in front to gauge the conditions"
16:18
UK Time
As the top 3 climb the podium the 2 Frenchmen look delighted. That's Baz's 1st victory of 2013 and Cluzel's 1st podium in the class. Laverty seems less amused.
16:16
UK Time
After another fascinating race the top 10 were: Baz, Cluzel, Laverty, Rea, Camier, Guintoli, Sykes, Badovini, Melandri and Checa.
16:15
UK Time
Race control are reporting Haslam is 'OK' but has been taken to the medical centre for some checks.
16:13
UK Time
In all this madness Haslam crashed heavily out of 8th coming out of Abbey. That was a nasty spill as the bike flicked him over the top while the rain intensified.
16:10
UK Time
Laverty takes 3rd but looks disappointed. He clearly thinks he could have won that. Rea got 4th, Camier 5th and Guintoli has to be happy with an excellent 6th.
16:09
UK Time
Wow, they have taken the results from the end of lap 16, meaning Cluzel gets 2nd despite falling on lap 17. He got back on and made his way back to the pits.
16:07
UK Time
The red flags come out as the rain starts falling heavily around Stowe! Cluzel crashes out while Baz has a massive moment but they are declaring this as a result. Baz has won it!
16:04
UK Time
With just over 2 laps remaining Baz leads Cluzel and Laverty. Rea is giving it everything he has and moves into 4th. Can he bridge the gap to his countryman Laverty?
16:02
UK Time
Davies' bike blows up coming round Club! What terrible luck for the Welshman and Camier was fortunate not to hit the back of him. The top 6 have now splintered to 2 groups of 3.
16:01
UK Time
Rea is chipping away at gap to the front 6. With only 4 laps remaining he may just run out of time, but is now almost with Guintoli. Now a group of 7!
15:59
UK Time
Cluzel has pulled half a second while the rest fight amongst themselves. Baz is 2nd from Davies, then the Aprilias. What an incredible race.
15:58
UK Time
Cluzel leads into Vale as he slides under his teammate! They are exchanging positions at nearly every turn as Guintoli pushes Camier wide. He's now 6th. How did that happen?
15:56
UK Time
Camier ghosts through the front pack brilliantly and leads after taking Davies through Becketts. Then Cluzel does the same into Copse. He's 6 laps away from a famous home win!
15:54
UK Time
We can't count the Aprilias out of this. The top 6 are now covered by 1.3secs! Remember Laverty's charge in race 1 as no one wants to push too hard at the front.
15:53
UK Time
As we start lap 11 Baz and Cluzel swap places through Club. There is nothing between the top 4 here!
15:51
UK Time
The rain is falling harder, allowing Cluzel and Camier to close up on the front 2. Sykes is struggling to stay with the Aprilia pairing in 7th.
15:50
UK Time
Davies leads! That BMW is working so well under braking and he confidently slides under Baz at his favourite spot into Stowe. Baz isn't going to let him have it easily and fights back to lead through the complex.
15:48
UK Time
It's anyone's race for 3rd as Sykes is pushed wide by Laverty around Luffield. That was a hard move and Sykes is back to 6th. Suzukis are now 3rd and 4th!
15:47
UK Time
Davies moves into 2nd! It was a great pass entering Stowe! You feel these conditions may favour those with nothing to lose in the championship race.
15:45
UK Time
The 2 Suzukis make their way past Guintoli into Copse and Camier is looking to get past Laverty. Guintoli is back to 7th.
15:43
UK Time
Marshals are waving the white flag indicating rain is falling around the circuit. With 12 laps to go there will need to be a dramatic change in conditions to see riders pitting for a tyre change.
15:42
UK Time
The front group of 7 have closed up together as Baz fails to pull further away. It's Baz from Sykes, Davies, Laverty, Guintoli, Camier and Cluzel. This could be anyone's race.
15:40
UK Time
Davies is riding really well as he takes Laverty at the Complex to go 3rd as Melandri continues to struggle in 13th. His championship challenge is slipping away.
15:38
UK Time
Baz has eked out 1 second over the chasing pack but Sykes is determined not to let him go. Can the rest stay with the pair?
15:36
UK Time
The Kawasakis seem agile through the Club and Becketts curves as Sykes goes past Laverty for 2nd. What a classy move! Guintoli just sets a new lap record on lap 2 and is bringing countryman Cluzel with him.
15:35
UK Time
A group of 4 look to break from the rest. Davies is sitting comfortably on Sykes' rear tyre in 4th with Guintoli battling to stay in touch further back.
15:34
UK Time
Rea is enduring a terrible 1st lap and has been shuffled back to 6th. Baz is up for this one, he slides under Laverty before the end of lap 1.
15:32
UK Time
Laverty and Rea both get fantastic starts but Baz is really aggressive through Club and Becketts to go 2nd. Sykes and Davies have both passed Rea too.
15:29
UK Time
As we start the warm up lap there are a few spits of rain but it looks as though the track is totally dry.
15:27
UK Time
Just to remind you, the riders will set off in the following order: Laverty, Checa, Rea - Baz, Sykes, Davies - Camier, Guintoli, Giugliano - Cluzel, Neukirchner, Haslam
15:25
UK Time
Sykes, Melandri and Davies are looking for big improvements after disappointing efforts early this afternoon. Melandri has a lot of work to do from 15th.
15:22
UK Time
We have had fantastic races in all categories with plenty of controversy. If you haven't seen them already make sure you catch up with both the Supersport and Superstock races. Plenty of talking points!
15:21
UK Time
There were plenty of surprises in race 1, Cluzel and Haslam among them. Both of them may hope the current spots of rain may intensify.
15:19
UK Time
Conditions remain cloudy but, unlike race 1, the riders will start on a dry track.
15:17
UK Time
