Dice - The top speeds were taken in the braking zone at Monza which explains the spurious speeds (this was reported by MCN and is also noted by Dennis Noyes). In BSB there has been a clear 6+ mph difference at the last two rounds between the Superstock and the Superbike spec 1098R.

In theory there should be a bigger difference in WSB between the superstock and the superbike because the superbike runs 2 ring race pistons. In BSB the Superbike runs the standard 3 ring road piston and 500 rpm less than the WSB bike.
