Well Big C, I understand your disappointment and yes, BS had it in the bag. What I mean is that MF was right up there all race long battling with BS and NH. It would have been a different story if he was lagging some 10 seconds behind going into the last lap. We can argue on hollow victories ( let's say Colin Edwards' first title in 2000....) as long as we want but it is just part of the sport. I still believe Spies is the real deal and on sheer speed only to be matched by Haga. I've seen him ride in Assen and it's a joy to watch him with that fantastic riding style. :)
