Shredder, I'm not trying to take anything away from any of the other riders, of course Bayliss is a legend. However, he is 15 years Spies senior and last year was his tenth in WSBK, while Spies is a rookie.

It just blows me away how good Spies is doing on tracks he's never ridden before, on a bike he's never ridden before, in a series he's never ridden before...

The ten second gap in race one that Spies had over 2 compares to a 2.207 second gap that Bayliss had on Checa at Portimao 2008. Bayliss did have 15 over Rea!

Oh, and Spies already has seven wins (shoulda been ten!) at the midway and Bayliss had eleven wins last year. Spies has the potential to be the G.O.A.T.
