Ben Spies is now just 14 points behind Noriyuki Haga after the rookie romped to his second victory of the day at Donington Park, while Haga suffered a heavy fall.

Rumors in the States have The Ben very depressed about Haga's crash/being hurt. The media doesn't seem to cover the friendship that Nori and The Ben have developed....I guess it just doesn't sell adverts unless riders are slagging each other off.

The term "Gentleman Racer" hasn't been used in decades. I really hope the kids who are on their way up in racing take note of how The Ben handles himself.

I wonder who The Ben is going to BBQ with tonight now that Haga is in Hospital.
