Althea Ducati team owner Genesio Bevilacqua believes the present World Superbike technical rules 'penalise' twin-cylinder motorcycles in terms of acceleration and top speed.

WSBK = Ducati Cup. Oh you can bet your ass the FIM will let them take some weight off and increase the intake restrictor size.

Take it to the bank. And why in the world would Ducati give up their advantage by producing inline or v-4's ??? Aint gonna happen.

They will just lobby for less weight and intake restrictor size until they cannot beat the inline and V-4's with 200cc's.

Ducati is a lot of things besides builders some of the coolest bikes on the planet.

They certainly are not stupid.
