WSBK » Haslam re-issues plea for Suzuki factory push

Until recently the long-time 2010 WSBK pace-setter, Alstare's Leon Haslam has urged Suzuki to improve the GSX-R1000's straight-line speed to stop Max Biaggi from roaring to the crown.

I've been in plenty races where your giving it everything (that you have as an individual) doing well and challenging for a place only to have your competition use his acceleration or top speed advantage to negate all the hard work you've put in to claw your way up to where you are and I'm talking of small amounts, just enough to keep you back there. Max of course has the speed as a rider and it is great to see him enjoy his sport once again. Leon is a real challenger and would like some help to get the GSXR moving along just that bit harder by only a few percent which the factory could do I'm sure quite easily and he's getting the sh1t ripped out of him here - some of you are unbelievable.
