It was good to see a gentleman racer like Carlos Checa win the champioship and also frustrating to see Tom Sykes who had been on the money all weekend make a dogs dinner of it. But I would have to say that WSBK racing has kind of lost its sparkle for me - the grids are too small and there is too little passing. I mainly look forward to the 600s (WSS and Moto2). I believe that the rule changes that BSB is introducing is the way forward for WSBK - its the old story, too many electronics and too much complexity and cost.
