I said a twin of the same capacity can't pump as much.

"You also dont seem to get that the Ducati can produce more power at lower frequencies making it inherently faster in low rpm situations"

Where did I state anything that contradicts that? I clearly stated earlier that 4's make their power and torque higher in rev range.

I wasn't trying to give an engineering class! So no need to talk about connecting rods, frequency, compression ratio, etc - not that I'm the guy to be giving any lessons! Just giving some basics!
