I read an interview with Ronald Ten Kate the other day in which he said that WSS teams have been restricted to 8 engines per bike per season (he also said it wouldn't be a problem if it was reduced to 4).

With Biaggi using 28 last year (according to Neil Spalding / Julian Ryder) I wonder how long before we get restrictions on the number of engines in WSB?

In answer to @shamarone - MORE - during the final years of the 1000 Ducati twins they were getting through twice as many engines as Aprilia now hence the switch to the 1200 to reduce tuning and costs.
