"Tetley: Why MotoGP? WSBK is the real deal. Since the introduction of the 800cc engines in MotoGP, WSBK's been with all its diverse bikes and brands by far much more interesting series. Posted by jimmy"
Totally agree. In 2012 all the GP action was in Moto2 and Moto3 'cos MotoGP was a sp**** 2-tier series with big gaps between riders and boring, processional racing.
But, For 2014, when the rules change, I'd hope to see more factory teams in MotoGP, fuller grids and closer racing. On a levelled playing field, with costs reduced, I could see Aprilia being contenders, with Norge and Guinters getting decent results.
But mostly, I'd like to see MotoGP AND WSB prosper so we keep TWO major series on TV.
