re: "dramatic Q2 accident prompted by a technical issue that locked the rear wheel at speed down the back straight."

holy crap, that's the sum of all fears...!!! only thing worse is seizing a 2-stroke dropping through bray hill. that's a ultra rare problem even for a ducati. something's not right. chain break and wrap the rear sprocket...? bearing in the wheel/hub fail...?

re: "My mechanics have done a great job today, providing me with a bike - built from the rolling chassis"

breaking news dorna, in the monocoque world of Ducati, there's no such thing as a "rolling chassis". the swingarm, seat frame, and steering head are all bolted to the ENGINE. nothing's free standing or rolling around.

what alstare/corse have is known as a BOX JOB, so can we PLEASE just give everybody a 2nd bike once everything's dumbed down to your liking...? please.
