I agree that Checa should never ride at the TT. It takes the opposite mentality to do well and survive there than the mentality of 'push until you crash to find the limit and then back it off a tad'. Careless Chucker wouldn't survive the first practice session at the Isle of Man, so I see why he would hate that race. The ego is a hell-of-a-thing.
The Panigale is a POS modelled on the 2009 MotoGP frameless bike. It does well in SSTK because of it's adjustable electric suspension. In SBK form though, it is too stiff and makes the suspension work too much ultimately making it hard to set up. I knew it would be a flop in SBK because of these inherent design flaws, and was derided as a 'retard' by the fanboys when it came out. Anyway, suck a long stiff one Ducati, you thought you'd be clever cutting corners. A motorcycle isn't an F1 car, so it needs a frame that has some level of flex to help absorb some of those spike forces transmitted by the suspension.
