I think the commentators do more for Guintoli's personality than he does.

Having seen some of Lavery's 'cute' posts on twitter I would have to give him the nod so far as interesting character off the track. 90% of Guintoli's persona seems to be hearsay by the commentators. Can't really see the need to differentiate on that point.

One thing is clear though, Guintoli has been picking up the pieces all season long, and I really hope he doesnt win it this year for that reason. There is nothing interesting about a rider who sits in the same position all race long and doesnt push for the win.

Guintoli's behavior after Sykes rejoined at Monza pretty much sealed my opinion about his performance this year, its like hes expecting to get the result with out actually going for it.
