WSS: Jones targeting home win.

Parkalgar Honda have vowed to do everything they can to help Craig Jones score a victory on home soil in this weekend's World Supersport round at Brands Hatch.

The Brit has been a frontrunner all season with the Portuguese based squad and currently lies sixth in the overall standings, but is still chasing his first World Supersport win.

Indeed, he is even more determined to win this weekend after seeing his hopes of victory dashed last time out at Brno with a mechanical failure whilst running in the lead with four laps remaining. Nonetheless, Parkalgar believe this weekend could be the one for Jones as the circuit represents one of their home circuits.

“This weekend at Brands Hatch will be an important one for the team as it will show case us to one of our home audiences – the other being in Portugal, the home to our team owner Parkalgar, the circuit complex that will host the final round of the Championship this year,” said team manager Simon Buckmaster.

“I know Craig can and will do well, he is really focused on his training and his racing as that will pull in the win that we all want so much. Our Parkalgar Hondas are working just how both our riders want them too and I know they will be competitive at Brands Hatch.

“Put simply, we will be going all out for the victory every time we take to the track.

If WSS wins were awarded on sheer balls then Jones would already be champion elect. Fortunately he has a huge amount of skill to go with the bravery, as anyuone who watched the last WSS race will testify. Go Craig, I''ll be cheering you on.
