Morelli to make belated DFX debut.

Luca Morelli will make his long awaited return to action at this weekend's World Superbike Championship after missing the last two rounds through injury.

Morelli, who started the season racing for Alto Evolution Honda, was due to make his debut for the DFX Corse team at Misano, but pulled out midway through the weekend when he discovered he hadn't quite recovered from an earlier surgical procedure.

Also missing the Brno round when he was replaced by Jiri Drazdak, Morelli will now join Karl Muggeridge in the team for the tenth round of the championship around the Kent circuit.

“To not be present at either Misano or Brno for me was very hard but it was indeed impossible to ride. Brands Hatch is a track that asks very physically but I hope of being able for me to defend with honour. Thanks to the team who have given confidence to me, I hope I can repay them.”
