2009 Aprilia World Superbike rider Max Biaggi has vowed to do all he can to score a home Vallelunga victory on Sunday, after qualifying on the outside of the front row in fourth.
"This year I managed to qualify on the front row for my home race, just like last year, which is a good result. We made a few small changes to the bike and it's now is performing much better," said the Sterilgarda Ducati rider, who is yet to win a race in 2008 but finished 1-2 at Vallelunga 2007 on an Alstare Suzuki.
"It's going to be difficult to get a home win tomorrow with these guys around me but I will try my hardest!" added Max, who will line-up behind Noriyuki Haga, Troy Corser and pole sitter Troy Bayliss.
Biaggi's team-mate Ruben Xaus will start eleventh after falling during his Superpole lap.
