Day two of the World Superbike post-season tests revealed some more interesting faces in interesting places as Regis Laconi and Lorenzo Lanzi both appeared riding the DFX Corse Honda.
Neither rider has a seat for 2009 yet, although only Laconi has confirmed that he won't be racing with existing team PSG-1 Kawasaki next season.
The Frenchman, a World Superbike runner-up in 2004, has endured a torrid season aboard the underperforming ZX-10R, scoring a best result of just eighth place on the way to 16th in the overall standings.
Lanzi, meanwhile, is seeing the Portimao circuit for the first time after the RG Ducati team were forced to skip last weekend's final round of the season. The Italian, a surprise winner at Valencia this season, was sharing the Honda bike with Laconi.
In tune with Laconi and Lanzi, DFX Corse endured a tough 2008 season, despite the efforts of full-time rider Karl Muggeridge, who produced their best result of sixth place at Valencia and Monza.
Elsewhere, Leon Haslam was seen getting more laps on the Stiggy Motorsport Honda, while Yamaha, Sterilgarda Ducati and Aprilia continued to put miles on their respective machines.
