Top ten target for Hill

Tommy Hill has set his sights on the top ten during the second round of the World Superbike Championship at Losail after scoring points on his full-time debut at Phillip Island.

Finishing his first race in well over a year during the opening round of the season in Australia, Hill scored four points on the Althea Honda after dicing with a number of more experienced rivals.

The British rider is now targeting a spot inside the top ten in Qatar, although he admits the time it will take to learn the Middle Eastern circuit will create a challenge for him.

“I have been staying in Phillip Island for a few weeks, and now with the first round completed, I just want to get riding again. Qatar circuit is new for me, so I need to learn fast, and get into the pace, and start to try and run in the top ten, and keep moving up the ladder, this will not be easy, but I am determined to progress forward.”

Here you all are once again slagging off another Brit. You ought to be a shamed of yourselves. After the horrific injuries Tommy has suffered the last two seasons, he desserves to do well, and believe me he is determined to succeed. If there was a trophy for slagging off a fellow countryman, you lot on here would win it everytime. Call yourselves racing fans, give the lad some support Rock on Tommy lad, the true race fans are right behind you. :) :) :) :)
