Tommy Hill is looking to put recent reports behind him as he continues his quest to break the World Superbike top ten, starting with the latest round of the championship at Assen.
Last week, Althea Honda were forced to issue a press release denying claims that former Ducati Xerox rider Lorenzo Lanzi was being lined up to replace Hill in the team.
Indeed, the British rider remains with the team for the upcoming event in Assen, which represents another new venue for him. Having been unable to test in Monza, as planned, Hill is feeling hopeful for better results.
"This will be the first time in Assen, so again it's another circuit I need to learn fast. It's a shame we did not get to test in Monza, as it would of been nice to get some more setup time, and progress forward.
“As we are now reaching the fourth round of the world championship, I have my fingers crossed for better results, and hope to gain more points than previous rounds."
Hill currently sits 20th in the standings having scored in four of the first six races.
