PSG-1 Corse Kawasaki have become the latest World Superbike team to succumb to global economic pressures after announcing that they will be present at the upcoming Assen round with just one rider.

The San Marino based team, which ran Kawasaki's factory WSBK effort in 2008, has had a tough start to the year since reverting to privateer status and have now been forced to whittle their efforts down to a single bike for Matteo Baiocco.

Blaming the global economic downturn for unpaid bills from key sponsors, the decision leaves Ayrton Badovini on the sidelines for the time being.
