PICTURES: Suzuki suffer at Assen

Assen regularly brings out some classic World Superbike Championship moments, but for Suzuki Alstare Brux, this was a weekend to forget.

Both Max Neukirchner and Yukio Kagayama suffered accidents in the first race of the weekend around the iconic Dutch circuit, although the former would return to the circuit to finish in 13th place.

As usual, our snappers were there to watch it all unfold, including the moment Neukirchner and his rider-less Suzuki was narrowly avoided by the following Leon Haslam

Max has shown for years that he knows how to fight and win races (watch Monza 2008) But the bike seems to be very difficult to ride, unstable under different conditions. And maybe the factory rider status is putting some pressure on him?
