PSG-1 Corse will miss two of the following three World Superbike Championship rounds as they bid to stave off financial hardship.

The Italian team scored their first points of the season at the previous Assen round in the hands of Matteo Baiocco, this despite being forced down to a single bike having released Ayrton Badovini prior to the weekend.

Now the team has announced it will be present for its home event at Monza, before skipping the following two flyaway races at Kyalami, South Africa and Miller Motorsports Park in the USA.

The team has stated the 'global financial crisis' as its reasoning.
