Kawasaki name Morais.

Kawasaki will feature a full strength rider line-up for the World Superbike Championship at Kyalami after securing a late deal with local favourite Sheridan Morais.

The team had originally announced Broc Parkes was set to compete on a sole Paul Bird Motorsport prepared machine in South Africa, but have now confirmed that Morais will take the place of the injured Makoto Tamada.

Morais, who also competed in Superstock 1000 in 2006 and 2007, will have local knowledge on his side having won the 2008 South African Superbike Championship on a Kawasaki.

Morais was originally due to compete as a World Supersport wildcard, but his place on the Kawasaki ZX6R will be taken by current South African Superbike team-mate Robert Portman.

"Zemke best of the rest in AMA".... meaning he's mid pack in any competitive championship. The zx10 may have won the south african championship and podiumed in AMA but at the sharp end it just doesn't cut it i'm afraid and Lanzi and Rolfo have got to be the 2 biggestg wastes of good rides i've ever seen! Why would anyone give them the ride? Anyway back to the point... I think it's a good choice as a stand in, local knowledge of a track and the home crowd behind him i'll be expecting a better performance than zemke's (taking into account the competitiveness of the bikes)
