WSBK Championship standings - Kyalami

A perfect weekend for Ducati Xerox moves them clear in both the rider and the manufacturer World Superbike standings after Kyalami, with Michel Fabrizio reinforcing Noriyuki Haga's dominance by overtaking Ben Spies.

A marvellous weekend for the defending champions, while Spies and Yamaha grappled with mechanical woes, a 1-2 result in both races for Ducati makes for some depressing reading for their rivals.

The figures currently stand at an 85 point advantage for Haga over his team-mate, who in turn is three points up on Spies. In the manufacturer standings, 72 points separate Ducati from Yamaha.

Elsewhere, Jonathan Rea's maiden podium has seen him make a substantial gain in the standings, leaping from eighth to fifth to be just ten points behind fellow Briton and Honda counterpart Leon Haslam.

Other movers are rather more minor, with many dropping or rising a single position, although a double top ten for Shinya Nakano does see him go from 17th to 14th.

Meanwhile, the flurry of injury replacements sees three new riders join the standings, the most successful being Gregorio Lavilla, ahead of Sheridan Morais and Fonsi Nieto. A total of 29 riders have enjoyed at least one top fifteen finish in 2009 now.
