WSBK Kyalami, South Africa - PICTURES

The World Superbike Championship made a welcome return to the African continent, South Africa and Kyalami over the weekend, the event being warmly received by the teams, riders and fans alike.

With its warm climate, dusty back drop and distinctive twists and turns, Kyalami was an outstanding setting for our photographers to be out there to witness the action throughout the weekend.

From Noriyuki Haga's triumphant double – including his unusual celebration with a 'random' fan -, Michel Fabrizio's last ditch efforts to deny his team-mate and Eugene Laverty's dominant Supersport victory, our snappers captured every moment in typically excellent quality.

Again, why no option to search image tags in the galleries Crash? I want to find specific riders or moments, not scour through page after page of slowly loading thumbnails. Sort it out please! P.S. Keep it up (so to speak) with those Bellisimo ads that keep appearing on the right-shand side...

The 'random fan' is Clint Buckham ... Nori's good mate in SA. Clint own a company that manufactures riding gear, under the name Nitro Max.
