Michel Fabrizio wants to translate his rapid pace in testing at the remaining World Superbike Championship events on the calendar after coming away from Imola second quickest.

The Italian was fastest in two of the four sessions and looked on course to finish the annual test in front when he lowered his best time to 1min 48.8secs, only for Jonathan Rea to go two tenths quicker with his last effort.

Nonetheless, having had to shoulder the majority of the development work on the Ducati Xerox 1198 due to the absence of the injured Noriyuki Haga, Fabrizio was satisfied with the progress made.
