WSS: Lascorz wants victory repeat in Portugal

Joan Lascorz targets a repeat of his victory for Kawasaki at the World Supersport season finale in Portugal.
Joan Lascorz is confident he will be able to prove his World Supersport victory for Kawasaki in France was no fluke following a positive pre-event testing session at Portimao.

Lascorz took the Japanese manufacturer to its first win in more than two years at Magny-Cours after coming out top in a dice with Yamaha's Cal Crutchlow.

A popular victory for the team and the Spanish youngster, Lascorz has now turned his attentions to producing a similar performance in Portugal, where he has been testing the ZX-6R ahead of the year's season finale.

“We had a good test at Portimao recently, and made a lot of progress to find a final setting for the races. We had to share the track with many riders and that was not ideal, but we did do a lot of good work on the suspension and engine. After the great result in France we all want more of the same.”

Lascorz is currently fourth in the standings, six points behind third place Kenan Sofuoglu.
