The people have spoken and they have said that Noriyuki Haga will win the World Superbike Championship in 2010 for the very first time.

One of the most experienced and successful Superbike racers of all-time, Haga has finished runner-up on three occasions, while he has not been classified outside the top four in each of the last eight seasons.

However, you think the time has finally come for the 'Samurai of Slide's' to break his hoodoo and claim that long awaited title, with 31 per cent predicting he will assume Ben Spies' crown this year.

Almost 2,700 votes were cast in just two days, but two clear front runners emerged from the start, with Haga and Jonathan Rea pulling away from an accomplished list of rider options.

In fact, Rea led Haga in the early stages before the Ducati rider pulled ahead - Rea would eventually log 24 per cent of the votes.

Aprilia's Max Biaggi emerged a lonely third with 12 per cent, ahead of countryman Michel Fabrizio and Leon Haslam, ensuring you predict the five highest-placed returning riders will dispute the same spots in 2010.

Returning former champion James Toseland is your sixth favourite for the title, while his Yamaha team-mate Cal Crutchlow emerged as the top rookie. Shane Byrne followed with three per cent, ahead of Leon Camier, Carlos Checa and Max Neukirchner.

You predicted correctly with Spies twelve months ago - have you made it two-in-a-row? We'll find out in just over eight months time!
