Haga tops morning warm-up

The Japanese rider will start in 11th position on the Ducati Xerox later today
Noriyuki Haga gave a hint that he will still be a reckoned force in today's World Superbike races in Valencia after going quickest during morning warm-up.

The Japanese rider will start 11th after missing out on the Superpole shootoout for the third race in succession, but managed to go two tenths faster than second place Leon Haslam.

Jakub Smrz was third quickest on the B&G Ducati, ahead of James Toseland and Troy Corser, while Carlos Checa was sixth despite losing some time with a technical problem onhis Althea Ducati.

Jonathan Rea, Michel Fabrizio, Max Biaggi and Shane Byrne rounded out the top ten positions.

Elsewhere, Sylvain Guintoli and Sheridan Morais both suffered falls but would return to the pit lane unharmed.

The first World Superbike race will take place at 11.00GMT

Interesting to see that Cal isn't even in the top ten with JT in 4th considering many (of the usual crowd)were writing JT off just because Cal managed ONE fast lap yesterday. Will be interesting to see what happens that is for sure, some idiots on here think that everything in a race weekend revolves around somebody that has posted a 'one off' fast lap time, muppets......
