Lap times will drop at Assen this weekend following subtle changes made to the circuit for 2010.

The legendary Dutch track is now a few metres shorter following modifications to make the Ruskenhoek chicane, at the end of the back straight, less angular. The result is a more flowing - and faster - layout.

"The revised corner is fast," confirmed Ten Kate's WSBK star Jonathan Rea.

"The new chicane is very fast, which is OK for me," added Sofuoglu's team-mate Michele Pirro.
