Pro Ride Honda's World Superbike debut has been delayed once more as prolonged negotiations with a main sponsor mean it will miss the fourth round of the season at Assen.

Having confirmed it would sit out Portimao and Valencia at the start of March, Pro Ride maintained it was the plan to debut at Assen, but it will again sit on the sidelines as it continues to finalise a deal with a main sponsor to go racing.

Despite now missing the first four events of the season, Makoto Tamada, who has competed this season in a one-off event with Reitwagen BMW, remains contracted to the team, while Pro Ride even revealed its bike livery earlier in the month.

The team did not reveal when it intends to make its WSBK debut.
