With 42 World Superbike wins to his name, there aren't many venues Noriyuki Haga
is yet to taste the winners' champagne, but Misano remains one of the few circuits the Ducati rider has never won at.
Fresh from his podium finish last time out at Miller Motorsports Park – a result that went a long way to stunting a poor run of form for last year's runner-up -, Haga turns to Misano looking to get the second-half of his season off to a start.
As with a number of other teams, Haga tested the Xerox machine at Misano during the four-week break and is now hoping he can use that to fight for victory around the Adriatic circuit.
“I'm hopeful that after the podium at Salt Lake, things are getting back on track for us. We had a tiring but productive time at WDW and I'm now looking forward to the Misano race with confidence.
“Last year didn't go to plan as race one was surprisingly wet and this caused me some problems. I've had highs and lows at Misano over the years and it's a track I've never won at; I don't know if that will be possible this time around with the level of competition that we are seeing this year, but I will try my best as always.”
