Even though I have an email from one of Silverstone's representatives stating that Friday is free, it now says that it's £10 entry? The snotty little tw@t in the call centre was less than helpful as well. Funnily enough, before the option to order BSB/WSBK etc event tickets, you have the choice to order GP and MotoGP tickets. It's pretty obvious where Silverstone's intentions lie, isn't it?

OK, first thing: it's not exactly free - like it was at Donny - if you have to buy a ticket for another day! Second: a guy on mcn forum has been told by Siverstone that Friday tickets will be on sale - on Friday morning! I don't have a time-machine handy for Thursday access! So, a bit of a non-offer then! Nice one, Siverstone!
