Parkes leaves Echo CRS Honda

The former Kawasaki rider has scored just nine points since joining the rookie Italian outift.
Broc Parkes has announced that he has parted company with the Echo CRS Honda team ahead of the eleventh round of the World Superbike Championship.

Parkes joined the fledgling WSBK outfit at the beginning of the season having been dropped by the factory Kawasaki team, but has struggled for form on the Honda CBR1000RR.

Released from his contract in the week, Parkes is now looking for opportunities to continue racing this season and in the future.

While he has focused on Superbike racing over the last two years, Parkes has achieved the majority of his success in the Supersport category having won five races and 23 podiums, while he was runner-up in 2004 and 2007.

Echo CRS made its WSBK debut in 2010 after a season spent in the World Supersport Championship.

@ hummer69 you try and ride the worse bike out there and not finish in the points when you know that ur capable of being a top 5 rider. i think parkes should have quit along time ago. it proves how **** the bike is when josh brookes rode it at phillip island, cause he is more then capable of winning a WSBK race at the island and couldnt even get a top 10
